Obama: Advance Notice on VP Available

The Obama campaign is offering registered visitors the opportunity to get Obama's VP pick emailed and/or text-messaged to them in advance of their national press release or news conference. Of course, all the media will have signed up for this info as well. I doubt very much that there won't be a leak even before any of us gets the message. What do you think?

Plays right into the masses that Obama's trying to represent...those who think they are getting something for nothing.

J.T nailed that on the head. I think you're right Dano. We will pretty much know who it is before the text arrives on the phone. (Which I won't sign up for by the way. Baaaaa Humbug!)

These two links might be interesting to the campaign.

Wow. I can't Believe anyone would actually think they would be privy to this information before anyone else, i.e. the media, one of his campaign staffers, etc., etc.

Yeah, Deb...but isn't it cool if we ARE the first to know?

Well, Sure it would be cool if WE were the first to know. But I think that happening is about as likely as winning the lottery. So, no, I'm not impressed with Obama's "offer".
